The Powerball is expected to reach $975 million in Monday night’s drawing after no tickets won the jackpot in Saturday night’s drawing, the lottery said.
Saturday’s winning numbers were: 33, 13, 50, 12, 52 with a Powerball of 23.
If the jackpot had a winner, that person could choose a cash payout expected to be worth $452.3 million, Powerball said.
The estimated cash value of Monday’s drawing is $471.7 million, Powerball said.
Saturday’s estimated jackpot was the fifth largest in Powerball history, and Monday’s drawing is expected to be close to the fourth largest, which was the $1.08 billion prize won in July 2023 in California.
There have been 38 consecutive draws without a jackpot winner. The last winner was on January 1, when a ticket won $842.4 million in the Michigan lottery.
The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million, according to Powerball.
