Experienced Actor Anupam kher said he didn’t need to fake his emotions while playing
the emotional role of a kashmiri pandit in the
film ‘ Kashmir Files ‘ directed by Vivek Agnihotri,On The great literary festival ‘Abhiyakti ‘ organised by Army wives Welfare Association(AWWA) in pune yesterday , where he expressed joy and happiness at the inauguration of Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22 and shared some memories about his film The Kashmir Files , he said that.
“My role in Kashmir Files was Soulful as I did not have to depend on acting . I didn’t have to fake my emotions .I try and bring truth in my emotions as some roles don’t require honesty of that level because it requires craft”
.He also added the role of Puskar Nath in the film Kashmir files there was no craft involved in it . Every single piece of it which was put to the role directly from the heart .it was “great performance” in kashmir files and it deserves a national award but adding to the comment everyone who got the awards fully deserved them.
also stating that he was happy for happy for Allu Arjun ( who got the national award for the best actor) and tweeted about it.but he is also said that he is allowed to feel bad about not getting the award and allowed to express it.
also speaking about the Ram temple inauguration “Hindus fought this fight for several years constitutionally. this is not only abou the hindu religion but it is about expressions. I am proud that I was the first from the film industry to go and perform puja there. whether I am invited or not , I will go on the day of sthapana”
at the 69th National film awards, the kashmir files won two awards , namely ‘best feature fim on national integration ‘ and ‘Best supporting actress’ for Pallavi Joshi.

the director also said that ” and what can i say about the great man, the great actor, great friend and the backbone of kashmir files. people will forget me and the film but this character of Pushkar nath pandit backed by tour -de-force performance of anupam kher will always live in people’s hearts”.he also ended the note by saying”there is no award that can ever do justice to him”
meanwhile on the work field he was recently seen in in the extraction series, ‘The Freelancer’, ‘The Vaccine War’ . ‘Tiger Nageswar Rao’ etc .
