The 12th fail is based on the Incredible true story of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma, it is a example of every person who dares to achieve his dream by his dedication and belief.
Written , directed and produced by Chopra ,it opens in a unknown , dusty Village in Chambal .In 1997 Manoj is preparing chits to cheat in his class – 12 mathematics exam. But surprisingly the teachers in His school famously write answers on the blackboard for everyone to copy so each Student can pass without any stress. But Manoj is at it anyway , just to make sure.
The storyline
His plans get wrong when a honest inspector (acted by Priyanshu Chatterjee) visits his school in the mid – exam and arrest the corrupt principal . Not seeing any other wayHe fails in the exam and his life changed forever. Due to his moral compass of his father who -suspended school teacher is equally strong was trying to make an impact on the young Manoj.
After his chance of meeting that cop that Makes him realise and teach a lesson about the strength of honesty. So he decides to become a cop ,the destiny wanted to make that real but he unlikely meets an comrade at the Gwalior railway Station . In this point
Of his dream journey the Manoj has been away from his home, lives without any food for days , with his some money and supplies Stolen on the way . Pritam Pandey (Anant Vijay Joshi) doesn’t pay for his food and injects the fear for his dream, and by him Manoj finds out about the UPSC exam and decides to become an IPS officer.
The two reach at Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar and finds out the teeming nest of UPSC aspirants, flooding with Students , coaching centers and a common dream to make the impossible become possible. This is where the Manoj and Pritam meet Gauri Bhaiya , a dreamer waiting for his result of final attempt. He coaches same students who had this dedication and belief to achieve it .if Pritam shows Manoj the sky where the dream is , then Gauri Bhaiya gives him the wings to fly for it.
In the entire journey of Manoj he works different types of jobs and face through a excessive amount of pressure, but his will and Determination was always stay still and move forward .
