The Mission: Impossible franchise is one of the most celebrated movie series.
The franchise’s makers are knee-deep in developing the next movie. We say this with utmost confidence, as Tom Cruise, aka IMF Agent Ethan Hunt, was spotted on the streets of Paris on Thursday evening filming stunts for Mission: Impossible 8.
The filming process included various locations, such as the Saint-Georges metro station, the Bir-Hakeim bridge, and Avenue Carnot, a few meters from the Arc de Triomphe.
This is not the first time that the capital of France will be featured in a Mission: Impossible movie; in the 2017 Fallout, a flyover of the Eiffel Tower and a parachute jump over the dome of the Grand Palais were seen.
Last month, Cruise was spotted on the streets of London for the eighth instalment of the Mission: Impossible saga.

Updates about Mission: Impossible 8
The plot of the film runs parallel to the current times of AI dominance. The protagonist and his team will be seen confronting a rogue AI named The Entity.
The film is set to have its theatrical release on Friday, May 25, 2025, after multiple delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent SAG-AFTRA strike.
Mission: Impossible 8, also known as Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part Two, is a sequel to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning.
Like the previous seven, Christopher McQuarrie is the director of the film.
Various other members of the team include writer Erik Jendresen, composer Lorne Balfe, and cinematographer Fraser Taggart. P reunited for the much-awaited action saga.
Also, the on-screen team will see familiar faces like Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, and Ving Rhames, along with new additions to the cast, including Nick Offerman and Holt McCallany.
About the legacy of Mission Impossible
1996 was the year when the journey of the Mission Impossible franchise began.
From witnessing high-speed motorcycle chases in Mission: Impossible II, a terrifying villain in Mission: Impossible III, a Burj Khalifa-scaling triumph in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, a stealthy espionage treat in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, and a gripping nuclear prevention tale in Mission: Impossible – Fallout.
